  • Bully Free Programme

The Mary Foundation and Save the Children Denmark have joined forces to introduce the anti-bullying programme Free of Bullying. Free of Bullying has been developed to prevent bullying among 3-8 year-olds. It consists of a suitcase with pedagogical tools such as Buddy Bear, conversation boards and the use of rhythm. These tools enable teachers to talk to the children with ease about an otherwise abstract subject such as bullying.

In 2010 Tallinn Suitsupääsupesa Preschool joined Denmark-Estonian joint project “Bully-Free Kindergarten” as a pilot preschool. Activities of the project are coordinated and supported by the Estonian Union for Child Welfare.
More information about the project is available at its webpage www.kiusamisestvabaks.ee/en/.

Tallinn Suitsupääsu Preschool is coordinating the introduction of the methodology to preschools in Tallin City Centre and shares its professional experience. We have conducted various introductive activities and our teacher Marilyn Palla operates as a trainer in the Estonian Union of Child Welfare Training Center.

The methodology is being used in all of our preschool groups and 8 teachers have undergone respective training.
